libdrizzle-dev software package provides library for the Drizzle and MySQL protocols, development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdrizzle-dev
libdrizzle-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdrizzle-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdrizzle-dev *
You will get with libdrizzle-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
